WELCOME TO THE FASCINATING WORLD OF GLASS!
A little about myself and my process. For 40 years I owned and
operated my own stained glass studio specializing in custom designed stained glass windows for home owners, churches businesses, private institutions and schools.
I retired a few years ago and since then have been exploring different and exciting new ways of working with actually playing with my love of "All Things Glass"
In several of my resin pieces I have combined hand cut stained glass with crushed colored glass to accentuate the focal point of the window.
I have chosen the Blue Crab, the Flamingo,
the St Augustine Lighthouse and the sea turtle for this process.
Choosing the best colored stained glass for the subject, cutting the glass, grozing (smoothing all the sharp edges of each glass piece) are all labor intensive, so I have chosen to limit the number of those windows I am offering.
In some of my other pieces I have combined many different types of crushed, broken, colored glass with shells and sea glass some from our beautiful Florida beaches) with sea glass and other items of interest.
Each piece is unique.
I am having a ball.
These resin creations can be used in a window or as wall decor.

Lynn Martin~ The Heart & Soul Of Gifts From The Sea Creations
Lynn Martin, artist, creative visionary, and passionate storyteller through creativity at 81 whose work reflects the beauty, resilience, and transformative healing power of God through nature.
As the creator of Gifts From The Sea, Lynn’s art is deeply inspired by her connection with her faith, the ocean, nature, and the sacred journeys of the soul.
Her resin artworks, include stunning ocean-themed pieces, embody the resilience, strength, and renewing power inherent in all of us.
Before embarking on her current creative path, Lynn was the owner, teacher, and artist of Seraphim Stained Glass Studio from 1978 to 2019, where she honed her skills in stained glass artistry. Her time in the studio taught her the delicate balance of creating beauty from light and glass, an influence that continues to shape her resin works today.
The craftsmanship from her stained glass days shines through in her current pieces, blending the timeless beauty of glass with the fluidity and depth of the ocean.
Lynn’s creative journey is deeply shaped by her spiritual connection to life’s impermanence. For most of her life, she has walked the Sacred path of healing, piecing together the fragments of her life. As the creator of Seraphim Stained Glass Studio, Lynn transformed broken glass into radiant art, teaching us that from brokenness, the most beautiful and raw pieces can emerge. Her work has always whispered this truth: even in our brokenness, there is meaning, light, and grace~ reflections of the Divine.
In 2019, Lynn’s life shifted profoundly with a 1,000-mile move, a loss of roots, and the unraveling of what was meant to be a new chapter. Grief and loss leaving everyone and everything she loved weighed heavily, and a sense of being untethered followed. Then, in 2024, a cancer diagnosis < followed by a broken hip ~ all testing her even further.
But even in the darkest storms,
Lynn’s deep faith, her connection to creativity, the ocean, and the whispers of the sea continued to gently call her back home to herself.
Gifts of sea glass, shells, and fragments worn by time became Divine messages, reminding her that even in pur most broken raw places, there is still beauty, grace, and the hand of God.
From this, Gifts From The Sea was born~ a tribute to the Sacred truth that life’s challenges don’t break us; they shape us, refine us, and lead us back to the light within. Lynn’s creations serve as love letters to the Divine, the ocean, and the resilience and transformation found in even the most difficult moments.
Lynn says, “Glass and shells break, sometimes they shatter, sometimes life feels like it is shattering and will never be whole again. Glass reminds me that when things in life fall apart, I can still make something beautiful from the broken pieces. It’s been one of my greatest teachers."
With nearly 50 years of artistic endeavors, Lynn is committed to empowering others to explore and expand their human experience. Her art is not just about beauty but about creating meaningful connections~ encouraging viewers to remember who they truly are and their deeper purpose.
Through her work, Lynn hopes to inspire others through creativity, to see the beauty in the simple things and be able to live more fully and authentically, embracing the sacredness of our own journeys. Her art is a reminder that no matter the challenge, we are always connected to something greater~ God, nature, and the infinite beauty of the world around us.

Lynn F Martin Resin Artworks and Gifts from the Sea emerged from a journey of healing, creativity, and a renewed love for art. In the wake of personal challenges, I found solace and transformation in creating with elements shaped by the ocean. Inspired by the ocean’s vast beauty and mystery, and captivated by the resilience of shells~ much like sea glass~ each smoothed and reformed by the relentless tides, I discovered that every piece tells a story of strength, renewal, and hidden beauty. These treasures from the sea remind us that we, too, carry unseen strengths within, waiting to be uncovered.
The ocean’s vastness and rhythmic waves mirror life’s ebb and flow~ its challenges, gifts, and constant renewal. Through Gifts from the Sea, I hope to share the beauty, strength, and quiet resilience that the ocean offers, as well as the reminder that each of us carries often Silent and hidden treasures within, quietly waiting to emerge.
